Inspired by the magnificent 1955 film "To Catch a Thief" starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. A more stylish movie would be hard to find.

There is a scene where John Robie, the Cat (Cary Grant), is entertaining the insurance agent H H Hughson (John Williams) over lunch at his villa. On the sofa lies Robie's old black cat. Hughson says "Under the circumstances do you think it pays to advertise?" to which Robie responds "He hasn't left the villa in years."

Grape growing and wine making follow the seasons. Each month brings with it a specific set of tasks that, after two years, culminates in the production of a vintage. This pattern has continued more or less unchanged for centuries. Now global warming brings with it threats to wine production in the form of shorter growing periods and reduced grape quality, too much heat for some type of vines and disturbed rainfall patterns. In addition there are threats from extremely violent storms and deadly bush fires. But for the time being at least, this poster shows how it is.

The "V bombers" were the Vickers Valiant, Avro Vulcan, and Handley Page Victor, three types of strategic nuclear bomber that comprised the UK's V-force during the Cold War. Designed to carry nuclear weapons to a range of 1,500 nautical miles, these aircraft served as Britain's independent nuclear deterrent from 1955 until they were gradually replaced by submarine-launched ballistic missiles in the late 1960s.

If Darth Vader had been amongst us on Earth during the 1960s, his private jet would have been the Victor. Nothing else comes close - it looks wicked.

A memory of the COVID-19 epidemic that controlled all our lives in 2020. It's a montage of Nausicaä from the 1984 Miyazaki film Valley of the Wind, and a person wearing protective clothing on the street in Wuhan, China. COVID-19 killed thousands of people, and at times it really did feel like the world had been poisoned and could turn into the Toxic Jungle.

It remains an example of how great scientists, with the right knowledge and tools, can literally save the World.

A poster inspired by my short novel Orlando Jax. "On the planet Montrachet, in the old city of Duclair, is La Rue des Navigateurs, the Street of the Navigators. On this street, the early space trading companies built their grand guild houses, did their deals in the cafes and bars, and pleasured their nights away in the Les Maisons de L’Amour, the houses of love."

Espero came into being when I first painted a picture of him. He is a determined character, and is purposefully marching to achieve something - but what? After a while we were left to conclude only one thing - Espero marches to achieve nothing less than to save the World!
